To ensure durability and precision, Skunk2 Ultra camshafts are machined from forged 8660 alloy steel blanks, induction hardened, and CNC precision ground. Ultra Series lobe profiles are designed in-house utilizing advanced simulation/CAD modeling techniques, and performance is validated on the dynamometer. Skunk2 Ultra Series Stage 1 Cams for K24Z7 are designed as a 'Drop-In' camshafts that can be used with stock valve springs and typically produce *20-30hp gains on naturally aspirated engines and over *50+hp gains on forced induction engines, with peak power shifted 1000 rpms higher. *Note: Actual results will vary based on engine condition, other parts selection, and tuning abilities.
